Deutsche Bahn modernizes railway service depots

Cologne is a very important rail traffic junction in the west of Germany with two railway service depots of Deutsche Bahn AG for the service and maintenance of high-speed trains. Both depots are using the proven Roediger® supply and disposal systems. As Deutsche Bahn expects continuous increasing levels of traffic, the depot infrastructure needs to be modernized. Therefore, the Aqseptence Group was engaged to renew the existing supply and disposal stations at the central service depot in Cologne, which was built in 1964. Two rail tracks inside the service facility and one outdoor track have been equipped with Roediger® systems app. 20 years ago. Now 20 new potable water supply and wastewater disposal cabinets made of stainless steel are going to be installed at two service tracks. The work will be done during ongoing maintenance operations and is scheduled to be completed in May 2021.
